Welcome to Mid World, an utopian society entirely controlled by The Elite. You play as Pixi, an alien bird who has been stripped of their memory and their money. To get it all back, you'll have to gamble your way through a casino, which, ironically, happens to be your own. By mastering its main attraction, TEKO, every victory restores a piece of your past, printing your recovered memories into a living Codex that accompanies you on your journey.

Set in a vibrant, highly saturated 2D original universe with hand-drawn characters and a deep hidden lore, TEKO is a colorful Roguelike Deckbuilder inspired by games like Balatro and classic retro flash games. Push your luck, break the game, and build the ultimate scoring engine!

CORE GAMEPLAY: SCORE BIG OR GO HOME

TEKO takes the combo scoring formula to the next level. You play hands using Chips, each featuring a specific color, number, and shape. But here is the twist: your goal is to form 3 independent combos at the same time per hand.

• Mana Management: You spend 1 mana per turn, which refreshes every round. If you run out of mana before reaching the score goal, it's game over.

• Dynamic Combos: Level up your base combos (like Pairs), discover rare and illegal Hands, or trigger special effects by landing specific combo combinations. Countings aren't strictly rigid, giving you room to strategize.

• Passive Triggers: Every Chip played fills up tubes, a cookie tray, and a pillbox, granting you crucial bonuses throughout your run.

• Boss Fights: Face off against challenging Bosses that inflict temporary debuffs. Defeat them, and you will be rewarded with powerful permanent perks.

• The Overkill Mechanic: Want to get rich? Exceed the score goal (Overkill) to earn massive cash payouts. But beware: doing so will exponentially increasing the point requirements for future rounds.

BUILDING YOUR ENGINE

Your success entirely depends on how you manipulate your deck and economy. The shop is your playground:

• Cards & Mods: Acquire Cards (powerful relics that grant active and passive effects to your stats and scoring) and upgrade them using Mods for even better bonuses. Furthermore, every action taken in the game will retroactively count towards the Cards that interact with those actions.

• Stickers: Apply Stickers directly to your Chips, permanently granting them unique, game-changing effects.

• Manipulate your Pocket: Your deck is called a Pocket. Modify it by deleting, cloning, or interacting with your Chips to craft the perfect setup.

• Shop Mastery: Earn interest by saving your money, reroll the shop for better loot, lock items for the next round, or even pre-ban cards so they never appear in your run. Got unwanted items? Blend them to create items of a higher rarity!

INSANE ITEM VARIETY

With over 200 distinct and unique items, no two runs will ever feel the same.

• Open Packs to obtain random powerful items.

• Use Consumables for immediate, clutch saves when you are backed into a corner.

• Hunt for Forbidden Cards: Extremely rare, highly illegal, and obscenely powerful items capable of completely breaking the game's balance.

• Unlock a wide variety of Pockets, each offering a unique playstyle.

• Test your skills across 5 levels of Deepness (difficulty scaling). As you dive deeper, managing your money and score goals becomes significantly harder, high rarity resources become scarce, and the final depth forces you to fight brutal double boss encounters.
