Private rivalries built for coaches

Private one-on-one Steam lobbies are in release-candidate testing for launch. Each coach gets a team, ready status, in-game chat, and control of their side's decisions. Steam relay networking connects the match without a dedicated game server.

Create local private leagues that record wins, losses, ties, points for and against, opponents played, recent games, and top performers. Custom coach names and imported chat portraits appear in the staging room and match chat. The Pocket Dynasty companion page can carry the lobby number and a compact league snapshot to the web.

Gridiron Live brings your matchup into focus with an animated host, team comparisons, players to watch, and a live league ticker. Opening, halftime, and postgame coverage follows the story of the game.

Scoring plays get their own animated celebration—scorer spotlight, stadium confetti, first-down pops, big-play reactions, and home sideline energy after the huge moments.

Before you take the sideline

Do I directly control the athletes? No. You coach and manage the club; computer-controlled athletes execute your decisions on the field.

Can I choose the match pace? Choose 5, 10, or 15-minute quarters (game-clock settings, not a promise of real-world session length). Watch live, jump to key moments, or simulate ahead.

Is this multiplayer? The single-player dynasty remains the core mode. Local Coach vs Coach and private one-on-one Steam rivalry matches—with staging, ready status, chat, and private league records—are in release-candidate testing for launch.

What controls are supported? Keyboard and mouse are supported. Xbox and PlayStation-style controller support is in final release testing and will be added to Steam's supported-feature categories after physical controller verification.

Pocket Dynasty uses fictional clubs, players, coaches, emblems, and competitions. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by any professional or collegiate league, club, athlete, or other football video game.
