Death and Tactics

"Death and Tactics" is a top-down Strategy RPG with a heavy focus on permanent death elements.  With 52 playable characters, each with their own unique events which can lead to unique items and abilities to experience depending on on who lives and who dies in your party, "Death and Tactics" is an incredibly replayable experience where your choices during the gameplay have long lasting consequences.

A key point is that "Death and Tactics" is a Strategy RPG that doesn't waste your time. Permanent death is incorporated into almost every system to create convenience. Players won't ever feel pressured to do something like restart a level if one of their party members falls in battle. Each death or mistake creates a new strategic opportunity for the player to explore. You can even intentionally "deal" with party members you may not be very fond of to take out difficult enemies, as seen in the gif above.

You, however, will be playing as the young lady here, who rides atop her mutated horse. 

Her happy-go-lucky life in a relatively peaceful part of the world is quickly interrupted by the cruel realities that come with trying to survive in the apocalypse. However, despite how unforgiving the world can be, her natural charm allows her to to accrue allies that can only be described as... interesting individuals...

Join her and her friends as they undergo a journey of loss, vengeance, and growth across this ruined world.

•   A "well-meaning" arms dealer that will supply you with several unique weapons.

• A pair of personal fitness trainers to level up any of your party members if they've fallen behind, ensuring that all 52 characters are usable throughout the story.

• A shadowy individual who may or may not take your party members' organs in exchange for cash.

-A 25 hour adventure dripping with character and attitude.
