A world where an endless rain of iron has turned the sky to ash. Summoned by Valdis, the goddess of last rites, you awaken in the body of a valkyrie who fell a thousand years ago — and spread your wings into a sky of bullets. Your only weapon: the knack for dodging that was the one thing you were ever good at, in the life before this one.

Barrage of Valhalla is a vertical bullet-hell shoot 'em up crossed with hack-and-slash RPG progression, built on two pillars: the skill to dodge and the joy to grow. Thread the needle for the pride of a top rank, or grind gear and buffs and bull your way through. Both are the right answer.

① Four classes, four ways to fly

Each class turns the same stage into a completely different game.

• Swordsman — Melee sweeps. The only class that cuts enemy bullets from the air; every bullet you slice charges your gauge. An aggressive tank.

• Bowman — Multi-way and homing shots, the classic shmup pick. Bullets converge when you focus-move. A great first pick.

• Magician — Devastating placement spells cast from a standstill. Your weapon is the courage to stop moving.

• Summoner — Familiars fight on their own while you focus on positioning.

Every class branches into eight advanced classes (subclasses), then grows into a build that's yours through the rebirth system.

② The skill to dodge, and the joy to grow

Dodge everything for an S rank, or push through with gear and cooking buffs — your call.

• No-miss, high-kill runs earn an S–C rank. Your best scores are recorded on per-stage, per-class leaderboards.

• Stack levels, gear and food buffs and you can power through even while taking hits. A lives system plus continues means "I can't clear this" never happens.

• Want an edge? Hard Mode — one hit ends it, and enemies grow relentlessly stronger over time. A single, all-or-nothing run.

③ Read the weak points, break the armor

Bosses aren't just targets to dodge.

• In armored phases, damage bounces off. Wait for the weak-point core to expose itself in the gap — then punch through.

• Damage is color-coded (white = normal, yellow = crit, orange = weak point, gray "1" = armor), so you can read what's landing without reading numbers.

• Five boss fights, each with shifting barrage phases. Lay to rest the fallen guardians the world left behind.

④ A quiet life between sorties

Runevik, the hidden village the rain never reaches. Nine facilities keep your next sortie stocked.

• Fishing, farming, cooking — turn what you gather into meals that become stat buffs for your next run.

• Your farm keeps growing the whole time the game is open, and bears fruit every time you return from a mission.

• Forge, enhance, arrange your rune board, train skills — a hub you roam to get ready.

⑤ An honest, one-time purchase

• No stamina. No loss on failed upgrades. No paywalls. Everything is playable from the start.

• Create multiple characters and pass gear between them through a shared storage. Alts are quick to raise.

• One purchase. All of it.
